Cafe Culture

You can't beat the opportunity to plan your days activities or reflect on your adventures of yesterday over a great coffee or delicious bite to eat.

Kerang, Cohuna and Koondrook offer a variety of cafes and coffee shops to delight your taste buds.  From the unique environment of the historic butter factory or at the farms edge to the more traditional eatery attached to the local pub.   Enjoy the mouth watering tastes from locally sourced produce and menus to satisfy the whole family.

Chino's coffee shop in the centre of the CBD and at the entrance of Patchell Plaza is a popular eating and meeting spot.  The modern surrounds and friendly staff serve Amanti coffee and fresh sandwiches, foccacias and quiches daily.

While out on a Murray River walk be sure to call into the Long Paddock Food Store.  The fresh and some locally sourced produce, great coffee and friendly make a pleasant dining experience that you want to keep going back to.

FARM 253

A visit to the Farm 253 farm shop on the fringe of Koondrook and you’ll encounter delicious fresh produce much of it grown on farm.  Enjoy breakfast or lunch with freshly brewed coffee while enjoying beautiful views across working pastures.

The homewares, antiques and linen store in the magnificent old butter factory offers a unique setting to enjoy a break.  Factory and Field’s distinctive warehouse surrounds and architectural beams are a great conversation piece while you enjoy coffee, iced chocolate or delicious cake.

You can expect  friendly hospitality and hearty meals, cooked on the premises when you visit Gospoda.  Some of Maria’s dishes are Mediterranean and Croatian inspired and carefully prepared.
