The Gunbower Creek provides an ideal family destination for camping, fishing, bushwalking and bird watching. Canoeing is especially suited to the low banks and peaceful wetland. The canoe trail takes you on a journey around the wetlands of Safe's Lagoon.
The trail is a return route of approximately 5 km and will take about 2 hours to complete. There are floating yellow buoys to indicate the trail, they are numbered to correspond to the numbers on the map.
